Thanks for checking out my recently launched blog, Contentography.
The name is a portmanteau of “content” (duh) and “graphy” – from the Latin for both “writing” and “field of study.” That’s apt because I intend this blog to be an in-depth study of the art of writing content: diction, grammar, pacing, voice, tone and more.
I don’t know of any other blog that gets down to the nitty-gritty of examining the precise ways you can put words and sentences together in ways that create content that resonates and engages with readers. It’s one thing to have a document that discusses your brand voice, but how do you actually execute the vision? How do diction (word choice), grammar, style and other composition elements contribute to developing a unique brand voice and tone?
As a student of writing (one of my degrees is in creative writing), I’m excited to delve into these topics with gusto and to help you understand ways to use various rhetorical elements to your advantage in writing killer content.
